This month is filled with fun events in Hamilton for everyone to enjoy!

Want to do something with the whole family? Every Sunday and public holiday from March to the end of October you can take a journey back to earlier times and places through fun and educational demonstrations and activities at Westfield! Westfield has more than thirty-five historical buildings to visit, including log homes, a one room schoolhouse, railway station, print shop, inn and cabinetmaker’s shop.

Throughout the month of May you can enjoy mother nature at the Botanical Artists of Canada’s “Native Plants of Canada Art Exhibition” happening at The Cotton Factory (270 Sherman Avenue North – 3rd Floor). It’s an exhibition of members’ work showcasing the rich diversity of flora across Canada. Dates and times vary. Details.

Sew Hungry is happening May 5th on Ottawa Street. Food trucks, beer garden, live music, and more! 11am to 8pm.

Want to get active and fit? Enjoy a FREE dance fitness class May 8th from 10-11am! “Old School Funk” style. Groove to your favourite hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. This Dance fitness program is geared for all levels and abilities. It’s taking place at Hamilton Legion Branch 163, 435 Limeridge Rd E. Details.

On Wednesday May 9th, The Learning Partnership is hosting its 2018 Hamilton Entrepreneurial Adventure Showcase at Cathedral High School! 10:30 a.m. until noon, students from K-12, along with their teachers and volunteer business mentors, will display their innovative ventures that raise money for charity. To date, over 60,000 young entrepreneurs from across Canada have created more than 1,500 successful ventures through this program and they’ve raised more than $3 million for charity.
