The mist is parting, and the spotlight is on Niagara Falls, a destination renowned for its scenic beauty. This Summer, Niagara aims to embrace its new ‘Music City’ designation by introducing the Misty City Music Festival, hosted at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre Grounds, debuting September 5–6, 2025. This two-day event will blend an exceptional lineup of internationally acclaimed artists, savory BBQ, and the finest Canadian-brewed beverages as a vibrant celebration of Niagara’s growing entertainment hub – all framed by the iconic backdrop of the Falls.
“Music tourism benefits cities all over the world,” said Jim Diodati, Mayor of Niagara Falls. “We are very excited to get in on the fun and host a music festival of this magnitude in the heart of Niagara Falls. It will enhance our tourism and hospitality offerings and provide another cool option in the incredible buffet of fun and entertainment available to all who come to Niagara Falls!”

The two-day festival will feature star-studded performances from internationally recognized rock and country artists, delivering an unforgettable live music experience. Organizers will reveal the complete festival lineup and schedule in the weeks ahead – fans should stay tuned for exciting updates. Misty City Music Festival expects to draw music enthusiasts from across major cities, including Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo, Detroit, Pittsburgh, and New York City, as Niagara Falls sets the stage for a vibrant weekend of live music and celebration.
“It’s exciting to bring a music festival of this scale to Niagara Falls,” says the festival’s Creative Director, Erik Dickson. “The creation of this festival represents another great step toward developing Niagara Falls as a Music City, and helps strengthen Niagara as an international tourism destination.”
Flavours Over the Falls: Culinary and Beverage Spotlight
Beyond the stage, Misty City Music Festival delivers an unparalleled food and beverage experience where world-class entertainment meets mouthwatering BBQ. Led by Niagara’s own Billy Bones BBQ, this festival will feature a delicious lineup of top “Ribbers” and specialty vendors, including Texas Rangers BBQ, Camp 31 BBQ, Uncle Sam’s BBQ, and Hawgs Gone Wild, serving up bold flavors and smoky perfection.
Beverage partner Labatt Breweries of Canada will feature a line-up of Canadian-made beers at the festival, including Bud Light, Budweiser, Michelob Ultra, and Corona. Festival-goers can also enjoy a selection of refreshing ready-to-drink cocktails from Ace Beverage Group, including fan favourites like Cottage Springs, Casa Del Ray, and Jameson.
