This summer, the heart of Stoney Creek will once again be filled with the sights, sounds, and aromas of one of Ontario’s most beloved community celebrations — the Winona Peach Festival. From Friday, August 22 to Sunday, August 24, Winona Park will transform into a bustling hub of live entertainment, unique shopping, family fun, and of course, mouth-watering peach treats.
Festival-goers can look forward to an action-packed weekend, beginning with the energetic beats of local and tribute bands on Friday evening, leading into Saturday morning’s kid-friendly performances — including magic shows, dance parties, and acrobatics — and closing out with Sunday’s lineup of crowd-pleasing musicians. Whether you’re a fan of rock classics, local talent, or lively cultural performances, the main stage will have something for everyone.
Beyond the music, the festival boasts a sprawling midway, with rides and games for thrill-seekers of all ages. Early risers on Saturday can even enjoy free midway rides from 10 to 11 a.m., while younger visitors can test their luck at the ever-popular Fish Pond.
Shoppers will delight in wandering through the expansive arts and crafts section, where over 75 artisans showcase handmade jewelry, art, home décor, and other one-of-a-kind treasures. The commercial vendors’ area offers an additional 100+ booths, featuring everything from specialty products to community displays where visitors can connect with local organizations, meet first responders, and learn about local initiatives.
The festival’s food court is a peach-lover’s paradise, with community groups serving homemade peach pies, cobblers, and sugar-dusted waffles alongside peach-topped crepes, grilled peaches, and cool, creamy sundaes. For those craving something savory, there’s no shortage of options — from pulled pork sandwiches and poutine to pasta, souvlaki, turkey legs, and gluten-free specialties. Local farmers will also be on hand, offering fresh peaches and produce for visitors to take home.
The Winona Peach Festival is more than an event — it’s a celebration of community spirit, volunteer dedication, and the rich agricultural heritage of the region.
