Put a scare into Cancer, or “Scare Cancer” as we now refer to it, began when the young wife of one of Glen’s friends was taken far too soon and too quickly due to cancer. It started with the idea that he would not cut his hair for 1 year then hold a fundraising event to raise awareness, shave his head, and, more importantly, raise money for the Canadian Cancer Society.
