One of Ontario’s fastest growing festivals is back for its third year featuring the Goo Goo Dolls, Brett Young, Gavin DeGraw, Teigen Gayse, The Castellows, and a yet-to-be-named Special Guest
The Revelree Music Festival is back in a big way. Being held Friday, July 19 and Saturday, July 20, 2024, year three of the all-ages live entertainment event held inside the natural setting of Sarnia’s Canatara Park features a great mix of Canadian and International artists across multiple genres.
Friday night’s lineup kicks off with one of the two winners of the inaugural Road to Revelree emerging artist competition, followed by Toronto’s indie-alt rocker Loviet. From there, current BCCMA Female Artist and Song Writer of the Year, Teigen Gayse, takes the stage ahead of a special guest who is confirmed, but will be announced on March 2. That artist will open for international recording artist and multiple Grammy-nominated group the Goo Goo Dolls, who will headline the first night of the festival.
The festival continues on Saturday with a first for Revelree – a feature of country artists. The lineup begins with the second Road to Revelree winner leading into Harrow/Lasalle duo Buck Twenty. From there, Nashville sisters and exploding country group, The Castellows, perform before multiple-award winning artist Gavin DeGraw takes the stage. He will open for the night’s headliner, Academy of Country Music Awards winner for Male Vocalist of the Year, Brett Young.
“We feel very lucky to have such a diverse and talented lineup for 2024,” says Festival Director, Scott Palko. “The Revelree Music Festival strives to put the best talent from any genre of music on the stage for our attendees to enjoy. The most important criteria for us is ‘do our artists put on a fantastic live performance?’, and the lineup we have this year answer that question with a resounding, ‘yes!’. We have both Canadian and International artists who have entertained around the world and to bring them all to one stage over the course of a weekend is something we are proud to offer our festival-goers.”
Going into its third year, Palko says Revelree is trying to grow through both the festival and its support of emerging artists.
“Two values that Revelree is trying to live by in our festival and associated events is to give our attendees an unforgettable experience and provide opportunities for emerging artists to take the stage. The Road to Revelree featured 20 bands from across Ontario, Quebec, and New York all playing for two main stage spots at the festival. The quality of these artists is incredible and not only will be able to help them grow their fanbase, but our festival goers will be able to experience these up-and-coming acts. We believe the two go hand-in-hand, so we want to give these artists to earn new listeners while being on the same lineup as award-winning worldwide acts that will draw huge crowds.”
