The 174th Ancaster Fair

Each year, the Fair welcomes 50,000+ visitors of all ages and from all walks of life.

At the Ancaster Fair you will find agricultural demonstrations, educational displays, horse and livestock shows, field crop, fruit and vegetable competitions, homecrafts, antiques, horticulture, photography and more. 

Enjoy entertainment for the whole family including rides, games, music, talent shows, pie eating contests, baby show, church service, and of course, the demolition derby.

Thursday: 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Friday & Saturday: 9:00am – 9:00pm
Sunday: 10:00am – 5:00pm

The Ancaster Fair Waste Management Program diverts waste from the Fair into recycling, composting, and cardboard. This reduces and diverts waste going to landfills. With help from the City of Hamilton and their waste station program we have successfully increased our diversion rates annually to approximately 35%- 56% since 2015.
