We are thrilled to announce Queer Hockey Hamilton’s inaugural home opener! After a remarkable year of shinny and drop-in hockey programming, the QHH team is thrilled to launch their first league. The Home Opener will feature four teams battling it out on the ice, as well as a sign-making station hosted by All Out Collective, and an after-party at Mohawk’s Lookout Sports Lounge.
While the team originally planned to kick off the season at the home rink – Wentworth Sports Complex – the venue had to be temporarily relocated due to a devastating fire at the facility. “We’re grateful for the community’s support and excited to welcome family, friends, and fans to cheer on some good, friendly hockey fun! Let’s celebrate inclusivity, community, and the start of a fantastic season together!”
