‘Remember when you were young?’ Alan Cross will explore how this monumental show came to be, why it mattered, and how it shaped the city’s musical legacy. From the band’s peak creative powers to the cultural impact of that night, Alan offers a deep dive into the history, mystery, and myth of a legendary performance that has echoed through the decades.

The event will also feature the only known surviving footage of the concert, recently restored by Speedy Films, in its entirety. Rob Gronfor of Speedy Films will be in-person to present the film.

Alan Cross is an internationally known broadcaster, interviewer, writer, consultant, blogger and speaker. In his 40+ years in the broadcasting and music business, Alan has interviewed the biggest names in rock and is also known as a musicologist and documentarian through programs like The Ongoing History of New Music. He’s currently providing content consulting for 102.1 the Edge and Q107 in Toronto.

Outside of radio, Alan’s resume includes five books, hundreds of public speaking engagements, and a national music column for Global News. He’s also constantly engaged in voicework, researching, writing, and consulting for commercials, TV, movies, documentaries, and corporate video.
