Live Nation is pleased to announce ARKELLS return to Hamilton for an official kick-off to the summer LIVE at Tim Hortons Field. The alt-rock favourites have dominated the charts and toured the globe and are thrilled to return to their hometown for one special night. From the 905 to the 416 – this will be their only show in the Golden Horseshoe this summer and it is not to be missed.

Hot on the heels of a Super Bowl NBC broadcast synch for “Knocking At The Door” and three 2018 JUNO nominations, including “Single of the Year,” ARKELLS announced THE RALLY this morning with a little help from Canada’s 2018 Olympic Flag-bearers, Olympic figure skating champions, Tessa Virtue & Scott Moir. WATCH HERE

“After the thrill of last summer’s show at Budweiser Stage in Toronto, we had to figure out a way to make our 2018 summer concert even better. So the first thing we thought was: let’s move this party to Hamilton and give folks a taste of what our town has to offer. We had a wish-list of bands to play with, and Cold War Kids were at the top of the heap. Then we were thinking ‘who can deliver on a big stage?’ and our friend Bishop Briggs immediately came to mind: she’s got a voice that can fill any stadium (and has had practice – opening for Coldplay last year). And we wanted to make sure our favourite new local band was on the night: Ellevator. They’re the next best thing to come out of Hamilton.  See you at THE RALLY.” – ARKELLS

Vocalist/guitarist Max Kerman, guitarist Mike DeAngelis, bassist Nick Dika, drummer Tim Oxford and keyboardist Anthony Carone, collectively known as ARKELLS, have been relentlessly touring in support of their latest album, Morning Report; building their audience and further solidifying their reputation as a passionate, high-energy, live-rock authority. Since the release of the album, the 4x JUNO Award winners have made their debut at some of the biggest marquee festivals in the US, including Coachella, Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo. Their most recent hit single, “Knocking At The Door,” spent an unprecedented 14 weeks at #1 on the Canadian alt/rock charts, making it the most played alt/rock song of 2017, and ARKELLS the most played band of the year.
