Sept. 19-22, Ancaster Fair
A Friday night demolition derby starts the 169th Ancaster Fair off with a bang. Dairy shows, horse shows, sheep show, live entertainment, antique tractor pull, midway, exhibits, 4-H, homecrafts, cooking demonstrations and baby show are included. Ancaster Fair’s Got Talent starts Saturday with finalists to perform Sunday afternoon.
Admission Thursday is $5 and $25 for a ride all night bracelet, Friday to Sunday is $13, $5 for children kindergarten to Grade 8. Fair hours are Thursday at 5 to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday at 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. A shuttle bus is being provided by the HSR all weekend from the Meadowlands & MacNab.
